Coping Strategies for Parents Who Have Children with Disabilities
The only thing more devastating than enduring a disease or disabling condition is when it happens to a loved one, especially your child. For me, growing up while going blind might have been an altogether different experience, and I may have become someone very different than who I am, if it were not for all the things my parents did to give me a full life. As a blind adult, I consider myself among the most fortunate of daughters. A disability does not have to be a barrier to your child’s sense of self-esteem or her ability to live her fullest life. You may be grappling with feelings of guilt, anger and frustration, unsure where to turn. Below are a few coping strategies that may help you to find strength and the support you need.
Educate yourself. Learn everything you can about the disease or disability. Learn the vocabulary necessary to effectively communicate your child’s needs. Remember, knowledge is power, and if nothing else, you’ll be able to quickly ascertain the depth of education or experience a professional may or may not have with respect to your particular set of circumstances.

Home Schooling a Future Millionaire
The public school system in America is a dinosaur and the Ice Age is not far off. With all of the advances we’ve made in technology and as a society in the last 50 years, it’s ludicrous to see our children being educated in the standardized system used 50 years ago. The influx of parents who are home schooling and the home schooling resources available now versus 10 years ago attest to the fact that parents are fed up.
Not only do the majority of public schools not work, but our children are getting less and less education. American children are getting further and further behind their Japanese and German counterparts; and in a time where the economy is global, how do our children remain competitive in the job market of tomorrow?

What is the Goal of Education?
Since the creation of this material world, mans efforts to make a permanent residence here had often been baffled. Birth, disease, old age and death, harass everyone without and exception. The laws of nature are so stringent that the even most powerful men, are crushed and reduced to bones or ashes at the end. No one has ever escaped the icy hands of mysterious death, in the past, neither will anyone, in the future.
Despite elaborate and varied insurance policies, there is no immunity against disease, old age and death. Neither the elaborate security arrangement of politicians can protect anyone from the ravages of disease old age and death.
